A Western Disturbance over N-PAK and adj. J & K would affect western Himalayan Region and plains of NW-India from 1st June evening onwards for the next two to three days. Light rain/Thunder storm activity would occur at a few places over J & K and at one or two places over HP & Uttarakhand. Dust Storm/ Thunder Storm with light rain accompanied with squall may also occur at one or two places over PJB, HAR, DLH, RAJ and UP from 1st June evening to 3rd June. Heat Wave to Severe Heat Wave conditions which are prevailing over plains of NW-India are likely to abate from 2nd June onwards.

The day temperatures over NW-India including Delhi would fall by 2 to 4deg C from 2nd June onwards. Max. Tempeature over Delhi & NCR would prevail between 40 to 42deg C during the above period.
